How I work

One Flutter codebase, three platforms, regulated release

Most of my work has been in banking and government, where a release is not just a build. The same Dart codebase has to serve Android, iOS and Web, pass security review, and stay maintainable after the people who wrote it move on. That constraint shapes how I structure things.

I start from a layered MVVM or clean architecture split — presentation, view models, repositories, data sources — with dependency injection so each layer can be replaced or tested in isolation. State management is chosen for the problem: Provider or Riverpod for most screens, Bloc where flows are long and event-driven. Anything sensitive goes through secure storage, JWT-backed sessions and biometric gates, with obfuscation at build time.

The rest is discipline: small reviewed pull requests, profiling before optimising, staged rollouts through TestFlight and Play Console, and reproducing production issues before touching code.

Architecture

Layered MVVM / clean architecture, SOLID boundaries, GetIt and Injectable for wiring

State

Provider and Riverpod by default, Bloc for event-heavy flows, GetX where the codebase already uses it

Security

JWT sessions, biometric authentication, encrypted local storage, code obfuscation

Delivery

Agile and Scrum, code review, staged rollout via TestFlight, Play Console and App Store Connect
